With winter upon those of us in northern parts, it’s that time of the year when we’re again faced with the awkward dilemma of keeping our hands warm while still being able to use our iPhones and Apple Watches. While gloves that are capable of operating capacitive touch screens aren’t an entirely new idea, they’re still not something you typically find in retail stores, and with the number of options available we know from experience that it can be tricky to find a pair that provide a good balance of style, comfort, and warmth. Mujjo’s Touchscreen Gloves seem to hit most of the right notes here — they’re well made, stylish, comfortable, available in several options depending on your needs, and work flawlessly with all of the touchscreens we tried. Plus, if you’re an iPhone X user, this is definitely the year when touchscreen gloves come into their own since Face ID eliminates the need to worry about dealing with the Touch ID sensor through a gloved finger.
Mujjo makes both a basic single-layered version as well as a double-layered version (shown) for those in colder climates, with both featuring a leather strap with a magnetic snap closure and anti-slip dots for maximum grip. The double-layered version adds an extra wool layer inside that acts as both a lining and insulator, making them much more suited for Canadian winters than most of the touchscreen gloves we’ve tried. For those who want to take it up a notch in style and quality, Mujjo also has two higher-end versions available, one in straight leather and one that mixes Ethiopian lambskin and Egyptian cotton in a leather and crocheted design.
