Paracable is a small company that makes only one type of product — Lightning Cables — but it focuses on doing that one thing extremely well. Paracable’s cables are Apple MFi-certified and available in five fun styles, each with an appropriately whimsical moniker to match, ranging from the flux-capacitor-inspired “1.21 Giggawatts” (“Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.”) to the bright green “Gecko” and the sci-fi-esque “Continuum.”

Beyond the designs, all of cables are otherwise identical in construction, constructed from 21 AWG power and 28 AWG data wires sheathed in aluminum and copper mesh EMF shielding and wrapped in durable “32-bit” paracord fabric and certified for a full-speed charging rate with durable aluminum housings on each end. The Lightning end is slightly larger than Apple’s own cables, but should fit through all but the very tightest cases. At five feet in length, they’re also versatile enough for use in a lot of different charging scenarios. While Paracable’s designs won’t appeal to everyone, they’re definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for really durable Lightning Cables with a fun twist.
