SwitchEasy’s Colors ($15) — which we’ve seen in the past for iPhone — is now a soft TPU cover for Apple Watch. Smartly, the covers are specifically designed to match Apple Watch Sport bands. There are black, white, and blue covers, and each cover comes with a set of three interchangeable side button covers — the button colors change based on cover.
Both 42mm and 38mm covers are available at the same price.
We’ve seen the likes of Colors before, and the idea that these types of covers can provide a bit more protection for an Apple Watch during certain times is already limiting. SwitchEasy may be aiming for users who won’t take Colors off though, considering how well the covers match the Sport bands. It gives the Watch a blockier — and to be fair, less expensive — look.
Colors’ interchangeable side buttons gave us an entirely different issue. The first time we tried to remove one of the buttons with a fingernail, the plastic chipped off in our hands. If you really want an Apple Watch cover, we’d suggest looking elsewhere.
