Aspyr The Sims 2: Super Collection

Aspyr has announced the release of The Sims 2: Super Collection ($30) in the Mac App Store. A classic “life simulation” game first developed by EA’s Maxis, Sims 2 was originally released in 2004, and the Super Collection adds a ton of features that should entertain seasoned players and reel in some Sims newbies.

Featuring all of the original Sims 2 content, plus six expansion packs and three “stuff” packs, in-app purchases are nowhere to be found in the Super Collection. Players are also able to import cities from Sim City 4 Deluxe. In addition to the new content, the collection has been optimized to work with modern hardware at native screen resolutions — Retina support is included.
