Leather may just be leather for some people, but for others, premium materials and descriptions are appealing. The latter group is the likely audience for Griffin’s Beamhaus Portfolio for 11” MacBook Air ($150)—the envelope-style sleeve will keep your Mac protected, and look good doing it.
Griffin labels its materials as “Horween Dublin leather in black with tan Latigo accents.” The body is made of glossy black cowhide, while the brown accents are found along the bottom of the holder, as well as the flap that keeps it shut. There’s a magnet hidden inside that flap, holding it all together.
