Heckler Design’s Cliff ($75) is a display riser and desk drawer designed to hold a Mac monitor on top while storing its cords and various other office supplies underneath. Made of powdercoated steel, Cliff comes in three separate parts. The larger top piece contains three holes on the front, top, and back.
All are placed in positions that will hide cords well. The two drawer pieces don’t actually connect to the steel piece with a notch or anything else — they’re completely separate pieces that slide on a desk or table using four feet.
Cliff comes in four different colored finishes.
We tested the black gray version, and we found it to be quite stylish and substantial. It’s a hefty drawer, weighing in at 11 pounds while measuring 15.8” wide by 9.8” deep and 3.4” high. The drawers gave us some concern at first seeing as they’re not attached, but the small feet on the bottom proved no problem for sliding.
