Computer bags are made from all sorts of common materials—leather, fabric, nylon, neoprene, and on and on. But PKG’s Rubber Bag (Small – $80, Large – $90) is sort of unique: the body is made from reused and recycled truck inner tubes, and the shoulder strap from seat belts. All of the parts were found in Delhi, India, and the bags were assembled there too.
If you’re a fan of cars, the bag’s just straight cool. Not only are the materials nicely chosen and Earth-friendly, but it looks great too. The smaller version will hold up to a 13” MacBook or MacBook Pro, the large can fit a 15” model. If you’re into Rubber Bag, make sure you hurry: there were only 200 made, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.
