Not every MacBook photographer uses an iPhone or Wi-Fi camera, so this one is for those of us who have miss the built-in SD card reader that use to come with Apple’s MacBooks.

Despite a slim and compact design — and of course Satechi’s classic brushed aluminum style in both silver and space gray — the adapter not only handles just about any standard SD card you can throw at it, but there’s room to insert a micro SD card at the same time, and yet the adapter itself is small enough to toss into a camera or video bag for easy access, and while it’s obviously designed to complement a MacBook, it can be used with any USB-C capable smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
