Altec Lansing has announced that it will ship its inAir 5000 AirPlay Speaker later this month.
Originally previewed at IFA last September, the inAir 5000 offers built-in Wi-Fi for AirPlay, dual 3-inch mid-range drivers, neodymium tweeters, and a 4-inch subwoofer, an included remote, an Ethernet port, a USB port for directly connecting an iPhone, iPad, or iPod, an auxiliary input, and a headphone port.
Altec Lansing’s inAir 5000 AirPlay Speaker will sell for $500.
