Apple has announced yet another delay for the white iPhone 4, reports Reuters, noting that the company provided no details as to why the product remains unavailable. The white iPhone, which has variously reported to have suffered production delays related to light leakage and miscoloration of glass or button components, is now scheduled to be released in Spring 2011—curiously just before what has annually been a Summer refresh of iPhone hardware. It was previously delayed from June until July, then from July until late 2010, before receiving the latest setback. “We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone again,” Apple’s Trudy Muller told Reuters, without making further comment.
