Tim Cook has announced that Apple will be donating $1 million to the American Red Cross to help with relief efforts from Hurricane Florence, which made landfall in North Carolina earlier today.
The Carolinas are in our hearts.
To our employees there, first responders and everyone in Hurricane Florence’s path, please stay safe. To help those affected, Apple is donating $1M to the Red Cross.

Apple also frequently allows customers to make Red Cross donations via the App Store and iTunes Store, although this does not yet appear to be the case this time around, although it’s possible that the donation sections will go live later today. [via MacRumors]
