Apple has begun to offer select movies for purchase in HD quality on the iTunes Store in Canada.
Previously, movies were only available for rent in the country, and only through the Apple TV.
With the launch of HD movies purchases, titles available for purchase in HD are also available for rent directly through iTunes as well as the Apple TV.
