Apple is teaming up with Hulu to promote “Castle Rock” by streaming the first episode for free in is Apple TV app. According to Engadget, the premiere episode of the new Stephen King inspired series will be available to iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV users in the U.S.
through Apple’s TV app for a two-week exclusive period, starting today. While Apple has offered free episodes for network shows before — it’s been doing so via the iTunes Store for a decade — this is the first time that the company has debuted a new series before it’s available on any paid streaming services.
