Apple has placed an order for another comedy series, Variety reports, this time from the writing duo of Rob McElhenney and Charlie Day, best known for their work on “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” The new series will be set in a video game development studio, with McElhenney also set to star in the series in addition to serving as writer and executive producer along with Charlie Day. This will mark the duo’s first collaboration since they worked together on “It’s Always Sunny,” where they both served as executive producers. The series will be produced by the Lionsgate-3 Arts Entertainment venture in partnership with video game publisher Ubisoft.
