Apple has quietly removed the 3.5mm headphone jack from its latest iPad Pro models — a change that unsurprisingly wasn’t mentioned in today’s iPad Pro announcement. Since the new iPad Pro now uses a USB-C connection instead of Lightning, Apple is now selling a new USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter for $9 that can be used for those who need to use wired headphones with the new iPad Pro models. The adapter is also compatible with Apple’s USB-C MacBooks. [via 9to5Mac]
