Apple has released a minor watchOS 5.0.1 to address some of the smaller bugs and issues discovered over the past two weeks since the release of watchOS 5. According to the release notes, the update addresses bugs that caused some users to see increased exercise minutes, while others may not have received credit toward their stand ring in the afternoons. Another problem was addressed that could prevent the Apple Watch from charging in certain situations. The watchOS 5.0.1 update is available as a standard over-the-air update via the iPhone Watch app, although developers using the watchOS 5.1 beta may have to wait until the next beta release to see these fixes, as they likely haven’t been incorporated into watchOS 5.1 yet, which was seeded to developers only a day after the main watchOS 5 release.
