Apple will reports its fiscal third-quarter financial results on Wednesday after the markets close.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson First Call are expecting earnings, on average, of 44 cents a share and revenue of $4.4 billion.
Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster said he expects Apple to top Wall Street expectations on strong MacBook sales, but believes iPod unit sales could be “slightly below” forecasts.
