AT&T has announced that access to the FaceTime over Cellular feature in iOS will be limited to customers on Mobile Share plans. “AT&T will offer FaceTime over Cellular as an added benefit of our new Mobile Share data plans, which were created to meet customers’ growing data needs at a great value,” reads a statement from the company, as reprinted by 9to5Mac.
“With Mobile Share, the more data you use, the more you save. FaceTime will continue to be available over Wi-Fi for all our customers.” Sprint has previously announced that it will not put any restrictions on the new feature.
