Belkin is showing its upcoming TuneBase 2 FM Transmitter at the IFA 2007 conference in Berlin, Germany. The TuneBase 2 is said to sport a mono display for navigating stations, an auto tune feature that finds the clearest frequency on which to broadcast, and a “signal booster.” As with previous Belkin TuneBase products, the TuneBase 2 draws power for both itself and a connected iPod from its cigarette lighter mount. No pricing or release specifics are currently available, although pocket-link.co.uk claims the product will be released in the UK in October and will sell for £69.
