Apple’s Taiwan-based suppliers of printed circuit boards have lowered their quotes on Apple orders for the quarter by an average of 10 percent, according to a new report. Citing industry sources, DigiTimes reports that the suppliers, which ship components for both the iPad and iPhone, have seen disappointing orders for these devices in the second quarter. Despite the drop, the sources expect shipments to rise sequentially through September ahead of Apple’s expected announcement and release of the next-generation iPhone.
