DEVONtechnologies has released an update to DEVONthink To Go, the universal iOS companion app for its popular DEVONthink desktop information management application for Mac OS X. DEVONthink To Go allows users to synchronize information between their iOS device and the desktop Mac application via a local Wi-Fi connection as well as capturing information while on the go to later be transferred to the desktop database.
The application also provides location services integration for automatically tagging new items and locating them on a map as well as a fast full text search of the local on-device database. The new version adds support for adding documents as reminders to OmniFocus and includes several user interface improvements, including a unified action menu, PDF searching and bookmarking improvements, automatic titling of documents and font improvements.
Several bugs have also been fixed in the latest update related to opening and editing documents in external apps and keyboard and scrolling behaviours. DEVONthink To Go is a universal app requiring iOS 4.3 or later and is available from the App Store for $15.
