Fastmac has introduced its U-Connect Universal Dock Connector Adapter for the second-generation iPod shuffle. Available in black or white, the U-Connect Adapter features a headphone plug/connector on one end and a standard 30-pin Dock Connector on the other, allowing the shuffle to be used with most iPod accessories, as well as a switch to toggle between music and charging modes.
“Many owners of iPod shuffle also own other iPods and our U-Connect product allows them to re-use the accessories they already have,” said Michael Lowdermilk, Business Development Manager of Fastmac. “U-Connect opens up a world of possibilities for the diminutive iPod shuffle.” The Fastmac U-Connect Universal Dock Connector Adapter for iPod shuffle is available for pre-order now for $16 and is scheduled to ship within 10 days.
