iPont has released an update to FlickrStackr, its third-party FLickr client for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. FlickrStackr allows users to browse through Flickr collections as well as uploading photos from the iOS camera roll and editing metadata for existing photos.
Version 2.1 introduces the ability to protect individual accounts and Stacks using a PIN code as well as making several UI changes to improve the display of photo privacy settings and license information. The update also improves Offline stacks, allowing users to verify if all of the photos have actually been downloaded and are available offline and improves the Recent Activity view to allow users to link to commenters’ photos and directly reply to comments and group photo invites.
A number of other fixes and improvements have also been made in the latest update, along with the addition of Facebook photo browsing support as a new, experimental feature. FlickrStackr 2.1 is a universal app requiring iOS 4.0 or later and is available from the App Store for $1.
