    GE releases HomeKit-compatible window air conditioner

    GE is now shipping its first HomeKit-enabled air conditioner in the U.S. Available exclusively at Lowe’s, the new 8000 BTU air conditioner features “WiFi Connect” providing compatibility with not only HomeKit, but also Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and IFTTT. Like most window air conditioners, the unit supports four-way air direction, three cooling speeds, and three fan speeds, and also includes a traditional remote control. [via AppleInsider]
