A Chinese site has allegedly leaked photos of a gold second-generation iPad mini. One of the photos shows the device’s Home Button surrounded by a Touch ID ring.
If real, this would be the first photo seen of a gold iPad mini — a space gray iPad mini 2 shell was recently leaked on Sonny Dickson’s website.
There have been conflicting reports on whether or not the new iPads will use Touch ID, though Dickson tweeted that the second-generation iPad mini would have the feature.
Dickson also tweeted that the new iPad mini will share colors with the iPhone 5s — it will come in gold, silver, and space gray. [via DoNews]
