Condé Nast Digital has released an update to its Gourmet Live interactive magazine app fro the iPad. The new version adds support for landscape viewing and the ability to purchase back issues and special features items directly from within the application. Additional new improvements include the addition of a home button, in-app badging and improvements to the sign-in and registration procedures, eliminating the need to setup a social networking account within the app. Gourmet Live is available from the App Store as a free download; individual issues are available for $1 each via in-app purchase.
