Mobiata has released an update to HotelPal, its application for finding and booking hotels on the go. HotelPal 2.0 is now a universal application providing a native iPad UI and also adds a new brochure view that lets users actually page through hotel listings.
Other improvements include the ability to compare hotels side by side within the app, a simplified booking view, an inline browser for hotel photos, calendar-based pickers for easy booking and the ability to access previously booked hotels for repeat bookings. The update also adds the ability to view and sort by star ratings for hotels, multi-currency support and in-app links to obtain reservation assistance via e-mail or phone.
HotelPal 2.0 is available from the App Store as a free download.
