Hyundai announced it is bringing Apple CarPlay functionality to its 2015 Sonata, making the Sonata one of the first vehicles to feature CarPlay.
The functionality “will be available on 2015 Sonatas equipped with navigation later in the 2015 model year.”
While the 2015 Sonata will be released early this summer, the wording of the release makes it seem as if CarPlay functionality won’t be available immediately in the first batch of vehicles.
CarPlay will eventually be available in 2015 Sonatas equipped with Hyundai’s eight-inch touchscreen navigation systems.
