Apple has released iBooks 1.1.1, the latest version of its e-book reading application for the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. According to Apple, the new version includes the ability to double-tap images to view more detail, support for audio and video within books, performance improvements for PDF reading, fixes for an issue that caused some book downloads not to complete, and other stability and performance improvements. iBooks 1.1.1 is available now from the App Store.
