iHome has announced that it is now shipping its iP46 Portable Rechargeable Stereo Speaker System for the iPod and iPhone. Previewed at CES 2010, the iP46 features a sound bar-style design, with four speakers—two active and two passive—mounted in Reson8 speaker chambers, SRS sound enhancement, a pivoting retractable Dock, a line-in jack for connecting other audio sources, folding stand supports, and a rechargeable lithium ion battery that the company claims is good for 10 hours of audio playback.
