Apple officially launched the iPad in Russia. The report claims that the iPad will initially be available in only four cities — Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Volgograd and Rostov-on-Don, with the first batch expected to be limited to 3 to 4 thousand devices. Apple is expected to supply Russian retailers with 40 to 50 thousand units before the end of the year. [via TUAW]
