Lingo has debuted its new iRis Battery Pack + FM/DAB Receiver for the iPhone 4. The iRis features a glossy plastic frame with a folding design to allow for insertion and removal of the iPhone, open access to all ports, controls, and cameras, save for the Dock Connector, a bottom-mounted headphone port and speaker, and a micro-USB charging port.
It works in conjunction with the company’s free DAB GO! app to provide tuning of FM and DAB broadcasts as well as battery management features, including the ability to monitor both the iRis and iPhone 4’s battery level and optimize the duration of charging. Lingo’s new iRis Battery Pack + FM/DAB Receiver for the iPhone 4 will sell for $80; availability has yet to be announced.
