Online meeting service Mikogo has released an iOS app enabling people to attend online meetings from their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad while on the go. Mikogo provides a conferencing and desktop sharing solution allowing businesses and other professionals to organize online meetings over the web via any browser or using the Mikogo apps on iOS and Android devices.
The iOS app allows users to participate in online meetings or view presentations as an alternative to attending from their desktop computer providing real-time access to the meeting content on their device. Users can connect to the Mikogo meeting service using a Wi-Fi or 3G network connection and simply need to enter the session ID provided by the meeting organizer and they are instantly joined to the online meeting; organizers can also optionally provide session passwords for additional security.
Mikogo is a universal app and is available from the App Store as a free download.
