PC Magazine praised the new 30GB iPod and iTunes 4 in its latest review. Reviewer, Troy Dreier rated the iPod 4 out 5 and gave iTunes 4 a 3 out of 5 dots.
“We’ll be curious to see where the iPod goes next, as other makers, such as e.Digital, attack its leading position. Apple will offer USB 2.0 support for Windows by June, which will require users to purchase a special cable ($19) and download new software. We’re curious about the hidden record feature, which many techies have discovered and written about on iPod sites. It allows six-second voice recording, but Apple is mum on the subject.”
