Quickoffice has updated Quickoffice Pro HD, its mobile office productivity application for the iPad, adding support for Microsoft Office 2010 document formats. The Quickoffice series of apps is designed to allow mobile users to view, edit and share Microsoft Office documents while on the go while providing seamless access to a variety of online file services including Box.net, Dropbox, Google Docs, Evernote, SugarSync and more. Quickoffice Pro HD 4.0 now allows iPad users to view and edit Microsoft Word 2010 and Excel 2010 files as well as viewing files created with Powerpoint 2010. The update also introduces support for freezing panes in Excel spreadsheets to allow more effective viewing and editing of large worksheets. Quickoffice Pro HD 4.0 is available from the App Store for $20.
