Apple will hold an “enormous” iPhone upgrade event in stores this week to boost sales, 9to5Mac reports. The company will contact upgrade-eligible iPhone users starting on May 8, sending email offers to upgrade to an iPhone 5s or 5c. This event will reportedly “be held in multiple states.” Further details are scarce, but considering the timing of the event, more information should be revealed in the very near future. It’s also noted that Apple is working on other initiatives designed to improve in-store iPhone sales.
