Tossing water on long-spread but highly questionable rumors that Apple will begin pre-orders for the new iPhone immediately following the device’s introduction, MacRumors claims that pre-orders for the new iPhone may not start until Friday morning. According to the report, Apple is increasing sales support staffing for 6 a.m. Eastern on Friday, in preparation for a “major surge” in orders that day.
