Shazam has released an update to its iOS app for tagging and identifying music introducing support for viewing lyrics. Shazam is a free app that allows users to identify songs by sound through the built-in mic, providing title, album and artist information as well as links to purchase the track on the iTunes Store, view related content on YouTube and other sites or share tagged music with friends on Facebook and Twitter. With the new LyricPlay feature, Shazam can now display full-screen visualization of lyrics, played in time to the music being tagged. Shazam is available from the App Store as a free download. LyricPlay is available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.
