Slacker Radio has released an update to its universal iOS app adding the ability to listen to live sports content, including streaming of every game of the men’s NCAA basketball tournament. Slacker Radio provides live streaming and subscription-based on-demand access to a variety of audio content such as music, ESPN Radio, live sports, ABC News, comedy and more. The free app can be used without a subscription to listen to any one of 150 pre-defined stations or create custom stations for online streaming over a Wi-Fi or 3G connection; a Slacker Premium Radio subscription provides both offline caching of stations, playlists and albums as well as access to content on-demand. Slacker Radio 3.8 is available from the App Store as a free download. Subscriptions can be purchased either online or directly within the app for $4 per month for Slacker Plus or $10 per month for Slacker Premium.
