Walmart has announced that it will offer the iPhone 4 on June 24, the device’s official launch date in the U.S. Cnet reports that while the retailer has offered various models of the iPhone in the past, this is the first time it will offer a new iPhone model on launch day. Walmart joins Apple, RadioShack, and reportedly Best Buy as U.S. launch day retailers; Apple will launch the iPhone 4 in the U.S., France, Germany, the U.K., and Japan on June 24, with pre-orders opening on June 15.
