XtremeMac releases Tango TRX speaker for iPod, iPhone

XtremeMac has released its new Tango TRX 2.1 speaker system for the iPod and iPhone. The Tango TRX is a 2.1-channel system, featuring an integrated Dock, Bluetooth EDR 2.1 for wireless music playback, two midrange drivers, two tweeters, and a subwoofer for full range audio, a line-in jack for connecting other audio sources, a multifunction wireless remote with EQ controls, compatibility with the company’s Tango TRX app, which acts as a substitute for the included remote, and the ability to charge the connected iPod or iPhone. A separate Apple-exclusive version, the Tango TRX D, also includes a separate charging dock for powering devices playing audio over Bluetooth. XtremeMac’s Tango TRX speaker system is available now for $180, while the Tango TRX D will soon be available exclusively from Apple and is priced at $200.
