Number 44 Case for iPod Now $25
Mike Weiss, developer of the Number 44 case has lowered the price of the Number 44 iPod case to $24.99 including shipping. The Number 44 case is available in black or brown leather and suede. A unique feature is the way in which you close the case by sliding a metal ring down for close and up for open. This case will fit the original model iPod 5GB and 10GB. iLounge has tested the case and it will not fit iPod 20GB. The new model iPod 10GB has not been tested with this case.
New Web Magazine Interfaces with iPod
Jot Kailay emailed to inform our readers about a new website he has helped develop. Winterface.ca is a “high quality web magazine focusing on constructive ideas on interfaces.”
“The first issue illustrates in detail how the iPod controls could be used in a unique method to enter text quickly. The method uses 2 clicks to enter any character. It also importantly does not use the scroll wheel for small precise selections, but only to indicate direction.”

MacNN.com reports that an individual on eBay is auctioning a limited edition iPod engraved with the logo of the recently aired mini-series “Taken” produced by Steven Spielberg. Seems that the folks at the SciFi Channel took advantage of Apple’s iPod Corporate Gift program.
