Connect iPod to Your Car Stereo
iLounger David R. emails us with information about specialized adapter cables to directly connect iPod to your car stereo. Multi Technology Equipment LLC manufactures adapters for many car makes such as Audi, BMW, Ford, Toyata, Volkswagen and more. Most factory car stereo adapters sell for $74.99 and are available for purchase at www.RCAinput.com.
“I’ve found something really cool for the iPod. I’ve got a 2001 VW Passat and have been searching (in vain) for a really elegant way to interface an iPod into my OEM car stereo system. Recently, I found a website that sells specialized cables for a variety of car makes. This cable lets you use a “CD changer” input as an AUX IN input, allowing an iPod to directly connect to your car stereo.”
