Belkin’s TrueClear InvisiGlass Screen Protector for iPhone 5 ($40) is ever so slightly thinner than Spigen SGP’s GLAS.tR Nano Slim — 0.2mm versus 0.23mm — but it’s so thin that it looks and feels like a slightly rigid plastic sticker. Otherwise, it’s very similar to the handful of self-adhesive glass screen protectors we’ve seen in the past.
Once you’ve cleaned your screen with the included cloth and dust-removal film, it sticks to the display, without affecting touch sensitivity. There’s are a total of five holes: one for the Home Button, another for the earpiece, and then smaller openings for the FaceTime camera, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
Belkin claims that the glass has been engineered with shock-absorbing technology, as well as scratch resistance and a clear, smooth surface.
