First Look: Bluetrek LostDog Slim Case Stand for iPad

    Arguably most noteworthy for its eye-catching yellow felt and clear plastic packaging, which has a zipper on the top for later re-use as a bag, Bluetrek’s LostDog Slim Case Stand for iPad ($60) is made from “recycled and recyclable microfiber” wrapped around a hard plastic iPad shell to create a flip-open folio. Bundled with what looks like a suede branding tag but turns out to be a microfiber cleaning cloth for the iPad’s screen, the Slim Case Stand has a front flap that can kinda-sorta-sorta not be doubled back as a video stand, using its tab closure to form a triangle on the back. The front and back also include embossed versions of the LostDog name, while the front features an oversized LostDog logo, designed by French artist Aurele.
