Booq makes some of the most stylish laptop bags in the industry, so it’s no surprise that its latest iPad bag is a handsome little design, too. Drawing inspiration from the earlier Boa Skin sleeves, Boa Push ($90) mixes the hip, tweed-like nylon material Twylon with leather to create a cool vertical carrier for an iPad and small office supplies.
The base of Boa Push is a U-shaped frame that’s covered with either gray or light brown Twylon outside, and embossed leather inside, holding the iPad within its central padded fleece compartment. Four ID card-sized pockets and an earbud-ready accessory pocket are, like the iPad, kept under Boa Push’s snap-shut top flap, which has a small open pocket on the front and a much larger one on the back.
Seatbelt-quality nylon is used for the non-detachable shoulder strap, while metal rings are included for strap length adjustment. As is always the case with Booq’s products, Boa Push looks and feels extremely well-made; its only glaring issues are its open bottom corners and the shallowness of its pockets.
