Yes, there is a company other than Monster Cable that’s trying to sell USB cables even more expensive than Apple’s. CableJive has introduced DuraSync ($22), a short, 3-foot-long Dock Connector to USB cable that it claims can withstand “pulling, jerking, and being run over.” DuraSync is transparent with stiff Dock Connector and USB plugs at its ends, and can be used for synchronization and charging when connected to a computer.
