As the second of two relatively unimpressive OEM-style cases we received for review from small vendor CaseCrown, the Cotton Weave iPad Case ($49) is a padded cotton canvas folio that uses elastic and faux leather corner grips to hold the iPad in place on one side while providing three pockets on the other. The one and only distinctive design element of this case is an interior elastic strap that is pulled outwards when you want to hold the case closed, wrapping around the case’s back. Three sides of the iPad are almost entirely exposed while inside; a color-matched leather edge and soft faux suede interior join the two cardboard sides.
