As one of the most interesting DLO cases we’ve seen in a while, the new version of HybridShell for iPod touch 2G ($20) features a mostly clear hard plastic shell with black rubber accents.
The interesting part is that the black rubber covers the iPod touch’s buttons, as well as the front chrome bezel, adding extra protection that comparably thin shells do not; a depressable rubber square on the back can be used to help remove the case from the device.
An iPhone 3G version is apparently coming, as well.
