First Look: Dragonfly Cork and Woodie for iPhone 4

Updated

Though the devil’s in the details, we liked the concepts behind Dragonfly’s new Cork ($25) and Woodie ($35, aka BeSpoke Woodie Case) cases for iPhone 4, designed to be earthy, eco-conscious wood protectors for the notoriously fragile new iPhone. Of the two, Cork’s the easier one to get behind, as it’s a plastic shell with real cork on the back and sides — similar to designs we’ve seen before from companies such as Griffin, but made solely for the iPhone 4, and packaged with a screen protector. Woodie is decidedly more handsome, a multi-wood, smooth two-piece shell with screen protection in film form, but it has no interior padding and was so tight when we went to put our iPhone 4 inside that we didn’t want to risk scratching or having issues prying the device out.
